Description
SEEDS, the OARDC Research Enhancement Competitive Grants Program, is an internal competitive grants program of Ohio State’s College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES). Established in 1996 and supported by an appropriation from the Ohio General Assembly, it helps OARDC- and CFAES-affiliated scientists collect preliminary data for national extramural grant proposals and attract industry support.
The program also aims to foster innovative research, build interdisciplinary teams, and encourage partnerships with industry and international collaborators. It sits within the CFAES research enterprise, whose work spans agriculture, food, environmental, and natural-resource sciences.
