Description
Connecticut Sea Grant, a state and federal partnership based at the University of Connecticut’s Avery Point campus, provides information about graduate fellowships within the national Sea Grant network. Its work focuses on research, outreach, and education that support healthy coastal and marine ecosystems.
The Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship places graduate students interested in ocean and coastal resources and national policy with legislative or executive branch hosts in the Washington, D.C., area. The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS)–Sea Grant Fellowship supports doctoral thesis work in population and ecosystem dynamics or marine resource economics on problems of public interest and relevance to NMFS. Fellows work closely with mentors at participating NMFS Science Centers or offices.
