Description
This program aims to strengthen the teaching, research, and extension capacities of 1890 Land-grant Universities—historically Black institutions—by funding projects that advance food and agricultural sciences. The grant supports a broad range of activities, including curriculum development, research infrastructure, faculty and student development, and outreach initiatives. Projects must address at least one USDA priority area, such as human health, rural development, bioenergy, agricultural systems, food safety, workforce development, or emerging threats in agriculture.
