This grant, administered by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), provides supplemental support to Local Education Agencies (LEAs) with schools identified for Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI), Additional Targeted Support and Improvement (ATSI), or Targeted Support and Improvement (TSI) under Section 1003 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). Funding is intended to help eligible schools extend the concepts and coaching from their participation in NYSED’s Supplemental Support programs—such as Enhanced Principal Leadership (EPL), Assistant Principal Mentoring (APM), Specialized Coaching (SC), and Coaching for Excellence (CFE)—in preparation for the upcoming school year.
