Description
This grant, administered by the New York State Education Department, supports Target Districts with schools identified for Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) or Additional Targeted Support and Improvement (ATSI). Funding enables these schools to employ instructional coaches and participate in the Coaching for Excellence (CFE) Supplemental Support program. The initiative aims to enhance instructional quality and school improvement by providing evidence-based, sustained coaching to teachers, with two participation paths: Foundational and Elevate. The grant covers only the salary and benefits of full-time instructional coaches, fostering improved teaching practices and supporting school turnaround efforts.
