Description
The Montana Healthcare Foundation’s annual Call for Proposals supports Montana-based organizations designing and piloting locally developed solutions to critical health challenges. Planning grants support strategic, business, and sustainability planning, while implementation grants support projects with strong business and sustainability plans already in place. Projects must address important health issues and needs not met by existing community resources.
The foundation emphasizes health, well-being, and resilience among populations at greatest risk for poor health outcomes. It values effective interventions not currently implemented locally, meaningful community involvement, and partnerships that improve the use of community resources. Projects should fit local culture, strengths, infrastructure, and resource constraints, deliver benefits beyond the grant term, and offer potential for replication. Rural and frontier communities may receive preference.
