Description
This grant aims to strengthen the culture of volunteerism, leadership, and civic engagement among junior high and high school students in Central Louisiana. Funding supports the implementation of Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC) Clubs, which provide community service opportunities, leadership skill-building, and promote the Louisiana Department of Education's Community Service Diploma Endorsement. The initiative is designed to connect students, schools, and nonprofit organizations, fostering lifelong civic involvement and helping youth develop 21st-century skills.
