This opportunity funds nonprofit organizations to implement evidence-based programs that promote abstinence-until-marriage among South Carolina youth ages 10–19. Supported interventions must use curricula certified by the National Abstinence Education Association (Ascend) and meet all Title V, Section 510 A–H requirements under the Social Security Act. Programs must demonstrate proven effectiveness, be developmentally appropriate, and comply with state and federal guidelines, including the South Carolina Comprehensive Health Education Act when implemented in schools.
