This opportunity provides formula-based funding to Local Education Agencies (LEAs) in New York State that are identified as Target Districts under the state accountability system. The grant supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of District Comprehensive Improvement Plans (DCIP) and School Comprehensive Education Plans (SCEP) for the 2026–27 academic year. Funds are intended to help LEAs establish and maintain district-level systems and structures that enable sustained school improvement, and also to support planning for the 2027–28 improvement cycle. Expenditures must align with the strategies and needs identified in each district’s DCIP and related SCEP(s).
