    Description

The American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (AABIP) supports early-career investigators studying bronchology and interventional pulmonology at accredited medical institutions in the United States or Canada. The program prioritizes scientifically sound, impactful projects based on merit, feasibility, and alignment with AABIP’s goals. Proposals should explain how the resulting data could lead to further grant applications, other research funding, and/or publication.

The grant also connects recipients with AABIP’s research community through conference presentations and Research Committee updates. Its NIH-aligned review evaluates significance, investigator expertise, innovation, approach, and research environment. Recipients are encouraged to share completed findings through the Journal of Bronchology & Interventional Pulmonology, subject to the journal’s peer review standards.
