Description
The AACAP Systems of Care Fellowship offers a year-long experience for child and adolescent psychiatry fellows, triple board trainees, and post pediatric portal fellows. Participants receive mentorship from AACAP Systems of Care Committee members, connect with fellowship alumni, and develop a poster on a systems of care topic or project.
Monthly virtual seminars explore child welfare, juvenile justice, education, early childhood services, organizational and financial structures in mental health, and careers in systems of care. The published 2026–2027 program combines these seminars with participation in two AACAP Annual Meetings and an in-person poster presentation at the Systems of Care Special Program. Fellows also reflect on their experience through a brief essay and a presentation to their training program.
