The American College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ACNP) Global Scholarship Program introduces scientists working internationally to the College’s Annual Meeting. Sponsored by the Global Outreach Task Force, the program supports meeting participation rather than a separate research project. Awardees receive waived virtual registration, while the top three applicants receive additional support to attend in person.
The program emphasizes substantial research involvement, a strong publication record, and scientific leadership. Applicants describe their research goals, significant accomplishments, career ambitions, and how their work relates to the College’s mission. The career statement also explains why the scholarship would benefit the applicant at their current career stage and distinguishes their work from that of their mentors.
