Description
The ASPCA, through ASPCA Right Horse, funds programs and processes that increase equine adoptions, expand shelter capacity, or help owned equines remain in their homes. The opportunity has two priorities: capacity and adoptions, focused on increasing organizational capacity and/or equine adoptions, and safety-net programming, focused on supporting equines staying with their owners. Proposals may support new programs or the expansion or extension of existing work.
The program prioritizes clearly defined challenges and programs with quantified expected impact. Proposals should explain how activities will increase capacity or adoptions, reduce length of stay, or keep equines in their homes. They should also identify potential barriers, explain how those barriers will be overcome, and describe how the work will continue beyond the grant term.
