Description
Established in 2013, the Baidu Scholarship supports young researchers exploring artificial intelligence, from foundational theory to advanced algorithms. Its priorities include large language models, multimodal understanding and generation, AI systems and infrastructure, and machine learning. Interdisciplinary research clearly connected to these areas is also welcome. The program values innovation, research potential, exploration of frontier questions, and the ability to connect scientific work with practical problems.
Alongside flexible research funding, recipients can access opportunities to participate in Baidu's core technology research, collaborate with leading scientists, and connect their work to real industrial settings. Baidu also offers necessary server and computing resources. Research projects and internships are voluntary, and interest in participating does not affect scholarship evaluation.
