Description
Established by Baidu in 2013, the Baidu Scholarship supports young researchers exploring unanswered questions in artificial intelligence. The 2026 program focuses on large language models, multimodal understanding and generation, AI systems and infrastructure, and machine learning. Interdisciplinary research clearly connected to these areas is also welcome.
Recipients receive research funding they can use for academic work, project practice, and scholarly exchange. Baidu also offers opportunities to engage with its core technology research, work on AI challenges with scientists, connect research to industry settings, and access server and computing resources. The program aims to help emerging researchers pursue new ideas and advance AI.
