Description
The Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN) Continuity Grant supports research projects in the United States that were interrupted by the loss of federal funding or narrowly missed funding after NIH review. Its purpose is to keep scientifically reviewed work moving rather than require investigators to begin a new project.
Projects must be directly relevant to bladder cancer and/or upper tract urothelial carcinoma. The grant covers basic, translational, clinical, and epidemiological research, as well as patient-oriented clinical studies. Examples include shared decision making, access to care, quality of care, health disparities, patient-centered outcomes, and survivorship.
