Description
This grant provides bridge funding to primary investigators who have submitted, but not received, K- or R-equivalent applications to the NIH (or similar bodies) and intend to resubmit within 12–18 months. The program is designed to advance the mission of the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA), particularly in pediatric inflammatory arthritis, by supporting collaborative, patient-centered research projects. Applicants must present detailed project aims, milestones, deliverables, and a resubmission plan addressing reviewer feedback. Projects using CARRA data or biosamples require prior committee approval. The grant aims to generate knowledge and technical advances that directly or indirectly benefit patients.
