This award provides financial support to members of the Hispanic and Latin-X communities, as well as those engaged in outreach and mentorship to these communities, to advance their professional development in medical physics. The funding assists with travel, lodging, and registration to attend either the ASTRO or AAPM Annual Meeting, with the aim of fostering greater participation and advancement of underrepresented groups in the field. Only one recipient is selected per cycle.
