Description
The Ida Lawrence Research Summer Internship Program at Educational Testing Service (ETS) provides doctoral students with the opportunity to engage in advanced research projects focused on critical issues in education, assessment, and equity. Interns collaborate closely with ETS researchers on both foundational and applied research, exploring topics such as personalized assessment, complex skills measurement, digital STEM assessments, AI fairness, literacy, communication, and workforce skills. The program is designed to foster innovation, support diversity, and promote impactful scholarship in educational measurement and digital assessment.
Interns will:
- Develop research plans and conduct literature reviews
- Analyze data and present findings to ETS research teams
- Work on projects that advance the fields of educational measurement and equity in learning
The program includes an initial on-campus component at ETS in Princeton, NJ (first 2 weeks), followed by a remote research experience (remaining 6 weeks).
