The Ida Lawrence Research Summer Internship Program at Educational Testing Service (ETS) offers doctoral students the opportunity to work alongside ETS researchers on impactful projects that address critical issues in education and assessment. Interns engage in foundational and applied research across various topics, including personalized assessment, complex skills measurement, literacy and communication, digital STEM assessments, AI fairness and ethics, large-scale assessments, teaching pathways, postsecondary admissions, language education, global higher education and workforce skills, and K–12 research. The program is designed to advance educational measurement, digital assessment, and equity in learning.
Interns will develop research plans, conduct literature reviews, perform data analyses, and present their findings to ETS teams. The program emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and diversity, encouraging applicants from underrepresented backgrounds.
