The Ida Lawrence Research Summer Internship Program at Educational Testing Service (ETS) offers doctoral students the opportunity to engage in foundational and applied research addressing critical issues in education and workforce development. Interns work alongside nationally and internationally recognized ETS researchers, contributing to projects that advance the science of measurement, digital assessment, learning innovation, and educational equity. The program includes hands-on experience in research planning, literature reviews, data analysis, and presentation of findings. Research topics span AI and machine learning, assessment and psychometrics, digital STEM assessments, fairness in AI, large-scale assessments, teaching pathways, postsecondary admissions, language research, global higher education, and K–12 innovation.
