Description
The Independent Medical Education team at Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, supports independent, certified education that improves patient care by strengthening healthcare professionals’ knowledge, competence, and performance. This call focuses on evidence-based educational gaps in Alzheimer’s disease care in U.S. primary care settings.
Two opportunities address complementary needs. The first supports community primary care physicians in discussing brain health, assessing cognitive risk, distinguishing mild cognitive impairment from normal aging using validated tools, and understanding blood-based biomarkers. The second supports physicians serving underserved populations through culturally sensitive communication, low-bias cognitive assessments, and community resource mapping. Together, these priorities aim to strengthen early detection, reduce stigma, and connect patients with appropriate care pathways.
