Description
The Lung Cancer Research Foundation (LCRF), in collaboration with AstraZeneca, offers this award to develop strategies that use patient advocacy to improve outcomes for people with small cell lung cancer (SCLC). The program addresses a gap in SCLC research and treatment progress, as well as barriers to advocacy posed by symptom burden and lung cancer stigma. Supported work should have the potential to strengthen research efforts, quality of life, and survivorship across the care continuum.
Areas of interest include patient-centered care models, survivorship care plans, equitable access to care and clinical trials, digital tools for patient-provider interactions, and systems that use patient feedback to improve care and research.
