Description
The Rhode Island Office of Library & Information Services (OLIS) offers Library of Rhode Island (LORI) Project Grants to help libraries, library consortia, and library-serving organizations advance library services in Rhode Island. OLIS awards the grants as subgrants of its federal Institute of Museum and Library Services funding under the Library Services and Technology Act. Projects support OLIS priorities of Access, Learning, and Engagement and its Five-Year Plan.
OLIS encourages proposals that expand access to library materials and services, create learning opportunities or promote literacy, increase use of library services or the library’s community role, or make services more inclusive and accessible. Partnerships with community-serving organizations are strongly encouraged.
