This grant program provides funding to New York State Grown & Certified (NYS G&C) farmers, food processors, and distributors for research and development activities aimed at launching new or expanding existing NYS G&C food products. Administered by the New York Farm Viability Institute in partnership with the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, the grant covers a wide range of R&D services such as consulting, market research, product development, food lab testing, certification training, and support for farm-to-institution initiatives.
