Description
The New York State HOME Local Funding Round, administered by Homes and Community Renewal (HCR) through the Housing Trust Fund Corporation (HTFC), provides federal HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds to support the development, rehabilitation, and preservation of safe, affordable housing across New York State. This competitive funding round enables partnerships among local governments, nonprofits, public housing authorities, and community-based organizations to acquire, construct, or rehabilitate housing, as well as provide direct assistance to low-income homebuyers and renters. The program adheres to New York State’s Consolidated Plan and federal HOME regulations, ensuring that funded projects deliver long-term affordability and meet rigorous property standards.
