The NYS HOME Local Funding Round provides federal HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds, administered by the New York State Housing Trust Fund Corporation (HTFC) through Homes and Community Renewal (HCR), to expand the supply of safe, decent, and affordable housing throughout New York State. Funding supports a range of activities including acquisition, rehabilitation, new construction, manufactured housing replacement, homebuyer assistance, and tenant-based rental assistance (TBRA) for low- and moderate-income households. A portion of the funds is reserved for Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDOs). All projects must comply with federal and state requirements, property standards, and affordability periods.
