Description
A Breath of Hope Lung Cancer Foundation funds this early-career research award to help retain investigators in lung cancer research. The award supports the investigator’s salary and project costs for work addressing major questions in commonly mutated lung cancers, particularly oncogene-driven disease and related translational research.
EGFR is a high-priority biomarker. Preferred topics include resistance to immunotherapy in EGFR-mutated lung cancer, acquired resistance to targeted therapies, predictive and prognostic biomarkers, and innovative treatments for mutation-driven non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The program aims to advance research that could improve treatment and survival.
