The Princess Grace Foundation-USA identifies and supports extraordinary emerging artists in theater, dance, and film, sustaining Princess Grace of Monaco’s commitment to advancing the arts in the United States. The awards support artists’ creative and performance practices, including theater direction and design, choreography, film direction, acting, and dance performance. The Foundation also maintains a long-term commitment to award winners through continuing support opportunities.
The program considers each artist’s distinctive voice and individual trajectory. Selection focuses on the promise of extraordinary talent, artistic intentionality, commitment to craft, impact or innovation, and demonstrated technique. Diversity—including gender, race, sexuality, accessibility, and geography—is central to the Foundation’s mission and its selection panels.
