    Description

The National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) Quality of Life Research Grant Program supports patient-centered research, including clinical research and trials, to improve the health, well-being, and lived experience of people affected by primary malignant brain and central nervous system (CNS) tumors. Research may address adults, young adults, adolescents, children, and their care partners.

The 2026 call identifies two focus areas: survivorship, including understanding and addressing survivors’ concerns throughout life; and behavioral and emotional healthcare/support. The latter includes mental health, depression, anxiety, coping, caregiver burden and distress, nutrition, exercise, sleep, and complementary therapies. Projects must address a critical gap in knowledge, care, or services and be designed for adaptation by other healthcare providers and/or lay a foundation for future research.
