Description
The National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF) Research Grants support scientists and clinicians pursuing promising ideas and innovative projects that advance understanding of alopecia areata and the discovery or development of safe, effective treatments, and potentially a cure. The program welcomes basic science, translational research, technology, epidemiology, health services, and clinical research.
NAAF supports both seasoned experts in alopecia areata research and treatment and young scientists and clinicians building independent research careers with an enduring focus on the disease. The program encourages investigations that contribute new information, with priorities spanning disease mechanisms, treatment development, patient-centered measures, and the burden of alopecia areata on patients and families.
