Description
The National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF) Research Grants program funds scientists and clinicians pursuing projects that improve the understanding of alopecia areata and foster the development of effective treatments. The program welcomes proposals from a broad range of research areas, including basic science, translational studies, technology development, epidemiology, health services, and clinical research. Both established and early-career investigators are encouraged to apply. Priority is given to projects addressing disease mechanisms, new therapies, patient-reported outcomes, comorbidities, disease triggers, treatment decision tools, and the psychosocial impact on patients and families. All applications are subject to rigorous scientific peer review and are selected based on NAAF’s strategic priorities.
