--- ## Description This grant opportunity is designed to leverage the arts as an economic driver in the Peoria region of Illinois. Funding is aimed at initiatives that foster economic growth through arts tourism, the development and success of arts businesses, increased community participation in the arts, and enhanced financial support for the arts from local governments and economic development councils. The grant seeks to strengthen the regional arts ecosystem by supporting projects that elevate the economic impact of the arts sector. --- ## Due Dates - March 2027 (anticipated full application deadline) *All dates are projected based on the annual cycle; check the program page for updates.* --- ## Funding Amount - The amount available to award varies annually; applicants should consult the current application or guidelines for specific details. - Past cycles have not published a strict maximum, but awards are competitive and determined based on available funds and project scope. --- ## Eligibility - Open to organizations with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, those operating under a fiscal agent that is a 501(c)(3), and to churches, schools, or units of government. - Projects must serve individuals within a 50-mile radius of Peoria, IL (excluding Knox and McLean Counties). - Funding may support new or existing programs that positively benefit central Illinois. - Organizations must be current on all CFCI grant evaluations.
