    Description

NOAA’s Oceanic and Atmospheric Research Headquarters Program Office administers this Broad Agency Announcement for extramural research, education, outreach, innovative projects, and sponsorships not addressed through NOAA’s competitive discretionary programs. Proposals must address one or more NOAA mission areas, including weather, oceans, earth systems, coasts, and coastal and marine resource stewardship. Sponsorships may include conferences and newsletters. This announcement does not solicit goods or services for NOAA’s direct benefit.

The announcement also accepts Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) proposals. These projects support applied environmental and cultural resource research, technical assistance, and education for public lands and trust resources. CESUs connect federal agencies with nonfederal institutional partners through university-hosted, regionally focused collaborations.
