Description
The Research Council of Finland’s Academy Research Fellowships support early-career researchers on fast career tracks across all research fields. Fellows pursue ambitious, innovative research while developing an independent research profile, stronger competencies and credible prospects of moving into leading research positions. The scheme aims to renew high-quality research expertise in Finland, connect researchers with Finnish research communities and produce research with scientific and societal impact.
Projects should advance knowledge through clear research questions, effective approaches and scientifically sound methods. The fellowship can support a researcher working alone or with a team. Research cooperation, mobility, supervision and leadership can contribute to the fellow’s professional development.
