The American Rhinologic Society (ARS) offers this award to support basic, translational, and clinical research in any area of rhinology. The American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery Foundation participates in application review and administration through the Centralized Otolaryngology Research Efforts (CORE) grants program. Projects are designed with an established investigator serving as mentor, with institutional approval and support for the time needed to complete the research.
The program supports research that advances understanding and treatment of rhinologic disease while helping new investigators develop their research careers. It emphasizes completion and dissemination of results through reports, publication, and submission of abstracts for consideration at an ARS national meeting.
