Description
The Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative (MURI) is a flagship basic research program of the Department of Defense, administered by the Army Research Office (ARO), Office of Naval Research (ONR), and Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR). MURI funds teams of researchers from U.S. institutions of higher education to undertake ambitious, multidisciplinary research projects that address complex scientific and engineering challenges relevant to national defense.
