Description
The Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship supports student teams pursuing futuristic ideas through research and development. Sponsored by Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., the North America program emphasizes innovation, execution, and teamwork. Teams propose an innovation, explain its significance and how it differs from the state of the art, and set out a one-year plan even if the broader project will take longer.
Qualcomm researchers review applications and proposals. Selected teams advance to a detailed proposal phase; finalists present their ideas and posters to a judging panel, which chooses the winning teams. Review considers the innovation, its distinguishing features, and the team’s ability to achieve its proposed milestones.
