Description
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) offers the Collaborative Catalyst Research Award to accelerate progress against pancreatic cancer through cross-disciplinary, multi-institutional team science. It is intended for problems that require coordinated expertise rather than work a single laboratory could pursue independently. Teams submit one unified application, not a collection of separate sub-projects.
Projects must address a problem important to patients with pancreatic cancer and focus on new therapeutic targets and approaches; early detection; supportive care, quality of life and survivorship; or biomarkers that predict treatment response and guide management. PanCAN seeks ambitious, clearly defined research with integrated team responsibilities, measurable milestones and progress achievable within two years. Awardees also join its Community for Progress, which offers mentorship, networking and professional development.
