Description
This grant opportunity, administered by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) through its Office of Research and Safety Initiatives, is designed to help National Children’s Alliance (NCA) Accredited Child Advocacy Centers (CACs) establish satellite locations in underserved or rural counties across Pennsylvania. The aim is to expand access to accredited CAC services, particularly in areas lacking sufficient child abuse cases to sustain a standalone CAC, by fostering partnerships with local Multidisciplinary Investigative Teams (MDITs). Funding is provided under the Endowment Act, with the goal of increasing the number of children served, supporting the development of MDITs, and improving the quality of child advocacy and investigative responses across the Commonwealth.
