Description
This grant provides funding through the Service Area Competition (SAC) to improve the health of medically underserved communities and populations. The program supports the delivery of comprehensive, high-quality preventive and primary health care services across the United States and its territories. Each SAC Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) announces specific service areas available for competition, detailed in the Service Area Announcement Table (SAAT). Additional service areas may be announced during the year if a previously funded health center cannot continue services.
