Summary: Travel support for top-scoring student Oral Research and ePoster presenters at the Academy of Osseointegration Annual Meeting.
Key Information: Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a dental program at the meeting and opt in during abstract submission.
The Osseointegration Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO), supports student researchers presenting at the AO Annual Meeting through its Student Travel Grant Program. The grants help cover travel expenses associated with attending the meeting, rather than funding the research itself. Both AO student members and student non-members may apply.
Selection is tied to the quality of submitted research and its relevance to osseointegration. The AO Research Submissions and ePoster Committees review and score abstracts to identify the strongest student presentations. Awards prioritize the highest-scoring Oral Clinical and Scientific Research presenters, followed by the highest-scoring ePoster presenters. Clinical Innovations presenters are not eligible for travel grants.
