Description
Run by 4-VA@Mason, the Collaborative Research Grants program supports pilot work intended to improve research competitiveness at George Mason University and across Virginia. It encourages Mason lead investigators to collaborate with faculty at other 4-VA institutions, build toward major federal grants, involve undergraduate and graduate students, and disseminate findings. Research proposals may also support course redesign.
Faculty participating in a project led by another 4-VA institution may seek separate Complementary Grant funding through their own campus. The Mason Collaborative Research Grant is an independent, state-funded program and is not affiliated with Mason’s Office of Sponsored Programs.
