Description
The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) Title XX Donated Funds Initiative supports nonprofit providers in developing and delivering programs in one of three key areas: Mental Health Outreach and Engagement, Recovery Support and Mentoring, or Telehealth. The initiative aims to expand access to behavioral health services, address systemic inequities, and foster inclusion across Illinois. Providers select one service category and must implement evidence-based approaches, collect and report demographic and performance data, and participate in ongoing program monitoring and evaluation. The program prioritizes efforts that advance mental health prevention, reduce stigma, strengthen recovery support networks, and enhance telehealth infrastructure.
