Description
The A3 Foresight Program supports joint research by researchers in Japan, China and Korea through an agreement among the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF), and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). Established in fiscal year 2005, the program brings the three countries together as a consortium to advance leading-edge research.
Its goal is to build world-class research hubs in Asia, with the three participating countries at their core. The program promotes top-level academic research, research addressing shared regional challenges, and the development of young researchers through collaboration among participating research institutions.
