    Description

The American Association for Anatomy (AAA) offers this award for undergraduate poster presentations at Anatomy Connected, its annual meeting. Also listed as the Undergraduate Poster Competition Award, it is part of AAA’s student and postdoctoral presentation competitions. Eligible students may compete for presentation awards in addition to receiving separate travel support.

The competition emphasizes scientific quality and importance, prioritizing research-focused, non-descriptive presentations. Descriptive submissions are also encouraged, but research is evaluated using the scientific process. Blind abstract review identifies finalists for judged poster presentations. Reviewers assess the problem and knowledge gap, testable research aim, methods, results, interpretation, and the significance supported by the findings.
