The Educational Outreach Program (EOP) from the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) is designed to introduce general psychiatry residents to the field of child and adolescent psychiatry. Through structured mentorship, academic sessions, and networking at the AACAP Annual Meeting, participants gain exposure to research opportunities, connect with leaders in the specialty, and advance their professional development. The program includes a financial stipend to help offset travel and lodging expenses for attending the Annual Meeting.
