The AACAP Leatherman-Drell-Ritvo Fund Grant supports projects that maintain and enhance psychodynamic understanding and psychodynamically-informed therapies within child and adolescent psychiatry. The grant encourages unique and creative approaches to sustaining and advancing psychodynamic practices, including education, curriculum and faculty development, research, training resources, supervisor training, and collaborations with other organizations. Oversight is provided by the AACAP Psychotherapy Committee and the Training and Education Committee. Projects may build upon the AACAP’s Psychodynamic Faculty Initiative (PsyFI) Mentorship Award or address unmet needs in the field.
