Description
The AACAP Psychodynamic Faculty Initiative (PsyFI) Mentorship Award is designed to advance psychodynamic psychotherapy training within child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship programs by supporting faculty development. Awardees work closely with experienced mentors to design and implement innovative psychodynamic training projects tailored to their institutions. The program aims to build a community of skilled psychodynamic educators, foster project-based learning, and provide structured opportunities for networking, project planning, and dissemination of outcomes. The ultimate goal is to enrich the teaching and supervision of psychodynamic therapy, strengthening leadership and expertise in psychodynamic child and adolescent psychiatry education.
