Description
This program provides P1–P3 pharmacy students with the opportunity to participate in summer research experiences in social and administrative sciences (SAS) under the guidance of faculty mentors at institutions other than their own. The goal is to foster interest in SAS research and graduate education, while enhancing students’ skills and professional connections for future residency, fellowship, or graduate study. Selected students engage in 8–12 week research projects, often resulting in conference presentations or peer-reviewed publications. Not all participants receive funding; up to five highly meritorious students are awarded stipends.
