    Description

This joint initiative of AACR, the Male Breast Cancer Global Alliance, and Daryl and Christine Soneral supports independent investigators advancing male breast cancer biology and translating promising discoveries into clinical impact. Projects must address a significant unmet need and generate novel biological insights with potential to advance therapeutic development, biomarker discovery, or precision medicine.

Research may investigate disease mechanisms, therapeutic targets and biomarkers, treatment response or resistance, or translational strategies. Projects should be innovative and hypothesis-driven. Any aspect of male breast cancer is welcome, with preference for metastatic disease. Work primarily replicating established research without substantial innovation, or lacking clear relevance to male breast cancer, is outside scope.
