The AACT Knowledge Translation Grant Award is an annual initiative of the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology (AACT) designed to bridge the gap between toxicological research and practical clinical application. It supports specific clinical toxicology projects, particularly those that bring research findings into actionable, real-world use, rather than general operations.
Supported activities include consumable supplies and services, subject expenses or reimbursement, laboratory analysis, and statistical analysis. Sharing findings is also part of the program: the recipient receives travel support to present project results at the North American Congress of Clinical Toxicology (NACCT). Funded studies must submit findings for scientific presentation and peer-reviewed publication, with NACCT and the journal Clinical Toxicology retaining first-refusal rights.
