The AADOCR Hatton Competition is an annual oral presentation contest held at the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (AADOCR) Annual Meeting & Exhibition. It is designed to identify and honor junior investigators—including junior, senior, and post-doctoral researchers—who demonstrate strong potential for productive careers in dental, oral, and craniofacial research. Entrants submit abstracts, which are reviewed blindly, and the top 27 are selected to submit extended abstracts and compete in oral presentations. Winners receive monetary prizes and plaques, and the top six go on to represent AADOCR at the international IADR Hatton Awards and Competition.
