This fellowship is designed to support dental, oral, and craniofacial researchers at the early stages of their careers, specifically at the faculty level. The program aims to assist new faculty in generating preliminary data, obtaining research training, or engaging in professional development activities such as attending conferences, presenting research, or establishing external mentorship or collaboration. The $10,000 award can be used for research supplies, equipment, software, research subject compensation, salary support, and travel related to professional development, with the majority of funds intended for research activities. Recipients are expected to submit a report within 12 months detailing progress achieved as a result of the fellowship.
