This award recognizes the best student presentation at an academic institution’s research day in the field of dental, oral, and craniofacial research. The winning student, determined by the institution’s judging committee, receives a $500 travel stipend and prepaid registration to attend the next AADOCR Annual Meeting or IADR/AADOCR General Session. The purpose is to encourage student engagement in research and support their participation in major scientific meetings.
Institutions must submit an application prior to their research day competition. Once the winner is selected, the institution provides the winner’s information to AADOCR, which then arranges for the travel stipend and meeting registration. Each institution is eligible for this award once per year.
